After his graduation, Dr. Troy practice Veterinary medicine for many years as an associate doctor in Chattanooga. Dr. Troy and Dr. Mabe Purchased the Lakeside Veterinary Clinic and rename it Shallowford Animal Hospital.

From the Knoxville College of veterinary medicine, Dr. Catherine completed her Veterinary degree in 1986. After her graduation, she practices veterinary medicine for 2 years. Dr. Troy and Dr. Catherine are partners of this animal hospital.
